Complete Guide on How to Transfer Indostat Credit to Other Users

  1. Credit transfer via short message (SMS)

The first method of transferring credit to other Indosat users can be done via short message or SMS. The method is also very simple. First, open the short message (SMS) menu.


Use the message format for credit transfer, namely type Credit transfer (space) The intended Indostat number (space) the amount of credit to be transferred. For example, credit transfer 08560492xxx 15000.


Then send the Indosat credit transfer message format to number 151. Then tap send message. Wait a few moments until you receive an SMS reply. You will receive a credit delivery token code.


Then reply to the message with the format OK (space) token code obtained to the number 151. Wait a few moments until the credit transfer request is answered by the Indosat Oooredo provider.


  1. Credit transfer via USSD call

Now, Indosat credit transfers can  be made via USSD calls. There are two types of credit transfers via USSD calls, namely for Indosat prepaid and postpaid providers. For prepaid Indosat users, do the following steps.


First, dial * 123 * 151 # and then press the call button. Then tap the number 1, then tap answer. Enter the intended number. Then enter the transmitted nominal pulse. Then tap number 1 to confirm the credit transfer.


For postpaid users, the first step is to dial *123*7*1*6*1# and then tap calls. Then tap number 1 to confirm the credit transfer. Enter the destination number. Then also enter the transferred credit amount. Then tap number 1 to confirm the number and nominal credit transferred.

Usage limit of the Indosat credit transfer function to other users

Indosat Oooredoo providers really restrict users to use the credit transfer feature. After you cross the credit transfer threshold set by the vendor, the request to send credit to other users can’t be processed.

Indosat users are only allowed to transfer credit with a total accumulation of approximately Rp. 200,000 per day. You are free to request to send credit to other Indosat ooredoo numbers multiple times.

It’s just that the total accumulated requests to send credit must be below Rp. 200, 000. If it has crossed the limit, the indosat credit transfer request cannot  be processed by the provider.
